Not Guilty: Suspect in Rihanna Home Shooting Formally Denies Charges

Destiney A

A woman accused of firing shots near Rihanna’s home has pleaded not guilty in court.

The charges stem from an incident earlier this month in which gunfire was reported outside the singer’s Beverly Hills property. Law enforcement responded quickly, and no injuries were reported. Authorities identified and arrested a suspect shortly afterward.

The defendant, 35-year-old Ivanna Lisette Ortiz from Florida, formally entered her not guilty plea during her arraignment. She faces multiple felony counts, including attempted murder and assault with a semiautomatic firearm.

The case is now moving forward in the court system, with prosecutors expected to present evidence and the defense preparing to challenge the allegations. Additional hearings are anticipated in the coming weeks.
