The McDonald's "KPop Demon Hunters" meals are here and I tried it!
The fast-food giant launched two special meals inspired by the Netflix animated film on Tuesday, March 31.
One meal honors HUNTR/X, the fierce female K-pop girl group that battles demons with their music. The other celebrates the Saja Boys, the charismatic demon boy band determined to derail their mission.
The HUNTR/X meal consist of the following:
Ramyeon McShaker Fries – crispy fries coated in a bold, umami-packed seasoning of soy, garlic, sesame, and spices, inspired by HUNTR/X’s go-to snack.
Hunter Sauce – a sweet chili sauce bursting with chili, garlic, and pepper, with just enough heat to match the fierce, fun energy of the girl group. Perfect for your 10 Chicken McNuggets.
Demon Sauce – a zesty, fiery mustard sauce with serious tang, colored purple just like the Saja Boys’ demon patterns.
The Saja Boys breakfast meal consist of the following:
A savory sausage McMuffin with egg, drizzled with a fiery peppery Spicy Saja Sauce, inspired by the fire of Gwi-Ma. Served with hash browns and a soda pop.

Let’s start with the sauces!
The Hunter Sauce was my clear favorite. It has a nice kick, but the flavor is spot on — I’d give it an 8.5/10.
The Demon Sauce was a bit more underwhelming. It didn’t have a very strong taste, though it did have a mild heat. Honestly, the vibrant purple color is the biggest highlight. I’d rate it 6.5/10.
Next up: the Ramyeon McShaker Fries.
I was a little unsure at first, so I only tried a few fries with the seasoning. The smell wasn’t my favorite, but the actual taste wasn’t bad if you don’t go too heavy on the seasoning. I’d give them a 5/10. I’d probably try them again in small doses.
Overall, I’m giving the HUNTR/X meal a solid 7.5/10.
