Our Story
In January 2026, we acquired the Y100 Internet Radio Station branding and assets to launch a revival project. Our goal was to bring back the spirit of the original LIVE 99.9 — the beloved station that served Northwest Indiana for years — after it changed formats in 2024 and switched frequencies and names in early 2025.
That brings us to today, and we’re excited to introduce LIVE 99.9 Online — a privately and independently owned, USA-based station that’s now streaming worldwide!
We’re a Top 40/Pop station with a fresh approach: instead of being strictly chart-driven, we focus on playing a wide variety of new hit music without overplaying the same chart-toppers like most other stations do.
By purchasing the defunct Y100 Internet Radio Station assets, we gained access to established resources including listings on major platforms (iHeart, Audacy, TuneIn, and more), social media accounts, computer systems, and additional infrastructure — giving us a strong foundation for a successful revival.
